Use of hydraulic and solar energy proposal in campus 33, Loxicha

Abstract

Plantel 33 Loxicha is located in the community of
San Agustín Loxicha, Pochutla, Oaxaca, considered a
coastal mountain range, it is an area of high marginalization.
The project presented was born to respond
to certain deficiencies experienced in the campus,
due to the fact that the only natural resource of
the community is wood; the mother tongue predominates
in a population of 24,467 inhabitants is
Zapotec (INEGI 2015). According to the 2015 INEGI
census, the socioeconomic level is low. The climate
is temperate, with rains in summer, the lack of electricity
is very constant, due to landslides caused by
the rains. The water service to the water tanks of
the bathrooms is carried out by means of a water
pump, a reason that leads to alternatives for the
supply of water resources. On the one hand, energy
is obtained from the sun through solar panels,
this allows a direct voltage of 12 vdc to be obtained,
which is stored in batteries and later converted into
alternating voltage of 127 vac with the use of an inverter.
On the other hand, energy is obtained from
the rainwater that flows down the gutters of the
roofs of the rooms. Once it passes through a hydraulic
generator, a direct voltage of 12 vdc is generated
that is stored in batteries and with the use of an inverter
it is converted into alternating voltage of 127
vac, in both cases this proposal would serve to illuminate
rooms or to the pumping of water
